Social value is about creating extra benefits for staff and communities, socially and environmentally, beyond core services. This isn't just a nice thing to do; under the Public Services (Social Value) Act 2012, we’re required to maximise positive outcomes when delivering public services.
At CHIS, we go beyond what’s expected to create real social value. We promote healthy starts for children, support our workforce, and protect our planet. Every contract we undertake reflects our drive to tackle health inequalities and spark positive change, ensuring every pound delivers real impact.

We give back to communities with needs-led donations and small grants, introduce new ways to support the workforce, and keep improving our services in line with NHS Net Zero.
